  1. Rachel Stivicic says:

My favourite would be ‘Open Here: the Art of Instructional Design’. As a student, I was really excited about buying it, and it started me thinking that I would like to be a graphic designer…and I am 🙂

  2. Casey Howe says:

I love the layout and overall design of ‘Visual Research: An introduction to Research in Graphic Design’. As a librarian in a creative media institute it’s difficult to engage visual thinkers with research. This book is particularly good at capturing the thinking and processes behind design research in an engaging way.

  3. Anniese Josey says:

The 20th Century Artbook is my absolute favourite as it’s the first thing I look at when I need inspiration, I’m bored, I need cheering up. Its a wonderful compendium of interesting and inspirational art.

  4. Kinokuniya Australia says:

Thank you to everyone who has commented here – great choices and responses! We love it! Please do make sure you are sending these through to us by email as well, to ensure that you have entered the competition as per the instructions above.

    Good luck!

  5. Sophie Penkethman-Young says:

‘Nature Morte – Michael Petry’ is my favourite. Its holographic cover shows a vase of flowers exploding, I loved it so much I would go to the shop to gaze at it, before lay-buying it. Every time I open it I discover something new, bold and inspiring.

  6. Tracy Fraser says:

Margaret Olley by Barry Pearce. Every time I see this book I fall in love with painting and art and the works of Margaret Olley. An amazing artist, an amazing book and such an amazing life. I must buy my own copy one day rather than borrowing from the library and from friends.
