Bestselling author, photographer and creator of Advanced Style had an event with us for his latest book Advanced Style: Older and Wiser and it was just FABULOUS!

As soon as we announced that we were having an event with Ari, creator of the phenomenally popular blog Advanced Style and author of the bestselling book of the same name, the RSVPs starting flooding in. Add to that the star power of three exceptional style icons, Sarah Jane Adams, Tutti Bennett and Lesley Crawford, and the event was fully booked before you knew it!

Guests on the evening were treated to a green tea and umeshu cocktail on arrival, thanks to our friends at CHOYA. We had never seen this many stylish, colourful and gorgeous women and men in one room! Everyone was absolutely stunning and vibrantly dressed, and some of these older ladies and gents certainly put many of the fashionable younger generation to shame.

The conversation was led by journalist Cecily Bennett, and Ari and the ladies discussed how style, attitude and fashion can be embraced at all ages – young or old. Ari also gave us insight to how he got started, his inspiration for it all (his grandmother, whom he was very close to), his books, and where the future might take him and his projects.
