Love your bookshop? We hope so!

On Saturday 12th August all around Australia, booklovers and bookshops will be celebrating Love Your Bookshop Day and we’re getting in on the party, too!

For one day, in store only, we will be offering a sweet deal on our Kinokuniya Card Membership:

• $5 for 1 year membership (normal price $15)
• $8 for 2 year membership (normal price $25)

As a Kino Card Member, you receive 10% discount* on full priced books, figurines and other merchandise every time you shop with us.

We’re also celebrating the day by giving YOU presents! Purchase over $30 in store on the day and receive a FREE lucky dip book gift** (while stocks last)! Just head over to our English Books Information Counter with your proof of purchase and select your FREE gift-wrapped book from the available categories.

There will also be some great happenings and events in store to get involved in. Bring the kids over to our Children’s Book Department for some Origami Bookmark-making! This fun craft activity will be happening all day in section, and all materials will be provided, so just drop in and get ready to fold.

We are also hosting our first ever YA Smackdown! from 11am – 1pm, where YA book lovers will go head-to-head defending their favourite book or series, to win an awesome YA bookpack and a $50 Kinokuniya gift voucher. Feel like flexing your book knowledge muscles? Join the Book Trivia Challenge from 3pm – 5pm!
