Seeing Photographs with the Australian Centre for Photography

Seeing Photographs with the Australian Centre for Photography

A brief Introduction to editing and selecting with photo-editor Rachel Knepfer.

Join experienced photo-editor Rachel Knepfer for an Australian Centre for Photography special event. Hosted by Kinokuniya, this hands-on workshop provides participants with a brief introduction to the power of an edit, its history and methods of presentation.

Drawing on iconic and newly published photobooks for inspiration, participants will work towards developing a framework around their own projects. Participants will be encouraged to be original, to edit with intention, and to embrace the nature of a work in progress.

This workshop is for those looking to turn their individual works into a collection, a permanent record, a book.

11.00am – 2.30pm with 30 minute break. Limited spaces available.
