As part of our Lunar New Year celebrations with The Galeries, we’ve called on three amazing artists to sketch for you at our Ground Floor pop-up on Saturday 24th February!

To claim your FREE* sketch, just spend over $150 in-store with us during the first week of Lunar New Year (16th February – 24th February) and present your proof of purchase at our Ground Floor pop-up on the day between 1pm and 4pm.

A bit about our talented artists:

Phil Lesnie is a Sydney based illustrator of children’s books. His titles include Once a Shepherd by Glenda Millard, A Soldier, a Dog and a Boy by Libby Hathorn, and Feathers by Phil Cummings. His first two books were CBCA Notable Books in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Currently, he is working on new titles by Phil Cummings, Zana Fraillon and Libby Hathorn. He is very sleepy, and quite thrilled.

Binny is an award winning illustrator, textile and surface pattern designer. Binny recently returned from living in Hong Kong where she completed her children’s book Origami Heart, exhibited works, illustrated at live VIP events and helped design work on Tim Burtons’ Halloween Party. Binny now works happily on beautiful Sydney harbour with other lovely creative folks.

Craig Phillips‘ work can mostly be found in books for Simon & Schuster, Penguin, Random House, Hardie Grant, Scholastic, Egmont, Bloomsbury and more. He also loves making comics. His comics have been serialised in children’s literary magazines and his graphic novel Giants, Trolls, Witches, Beasts was published in 2016 by Allen and Unwin.
